new and visiting town, Edleys was recommended to us. Atmosphere was great! Many food options, really enjoyed the Brisket, catfish and ribs delicious. Also enjoyed the sauce and sides. Upon the recommendation of one of the hotel staff, we made our way to Edley's barbecue for dinner after attending a Vanderbilt football game. This isn't your hole in the wall barbecue joint, but they definitely do serve up some tasty 'que. I decided to try the tri platter which contained pulled chicken, pulled pork, and brisket. I opted for macaroni and cheese and banana pudding as my sides. The barbecue itself was tasty, although I would have preferred it to be a little warmer in temperature (it was lukewarm at best). Additionally, they put a combination of sauces over the top of all of the meat before serving it, and I would have preferred the sauces to be on the side. But when I tell you, this was hands-down, the best banana pudding I have ever had in my life, and I absolutely love banana pudding, please take my word for it. I could seriously eat an entire container of their banana pudding and probably still want more. So even if you aren't a fan of their barbecue, you definitely need to give the banana putting a try.

First time customers. Visited on a Monday evening for dinner to go at 6:30p. Venue was packed inside. Some customers sat outside in spite of the cool temps. I didn't detect heaters. Long line to place an order. Worked well for us as we had time to review the menu. The manager approached us and we shared they were first timers. He offered us free banana bread pudding samples which were ample and tasty. He also shared that they were out of several meats. No ribs, hot pork, turkey or brisket. By the time we reached the cashier to order they didn't have enough catfish to fill our platter order. The manager was nice enough to give us the last piece of catfish at no charge. We ate while we waited for our order. It was good! The wait was reasonable given how packed the venue was. We ate pulled pork and BBQ wings platters. Both were good. Green beans were delish. Chicken gumbo is a little spicy. Maybe a tad bit salty. Platter portions were ample and satisfying. One member of our party couldn't finish everything before getting full. I'd return, but would call to order ahead plus confirm what meats they actually have before driving there. Forgot to take pics.

The service was great. The banana pudding was superb! And the ambiance was cozy! I'll be back for sure!!!!!!!!!!

This was our first taste of Nashville BBQ and we loved it! We got the sampler option- with double brisket and ribs. The brisket was fantastic- the best brisket we ever had! The ribs were melt off the bone goodness. The sides were a hide or miss. The fries were very good, and we enjoyed the cornbread and mac n cheese too! The baked beans we did not care for much. The food came out fast, good service, and the ambiance was great. Overall we really enjoyed Edley's BBQ and their tasty food!

This place is absolutely incredible! You can't go wrong with anything here. I was visiting Nashville and was here twice within a 16 hour period. Also, almost everything is gluten free including the meat and grits! I highly recommend, the wings, brisket, ribs & Mac and Cheese. One thing here is just better than the next. Love this spot and couldn't recommend it more.

By far the best meal I had in Nashville. The smoked brisket was delish. The catfish nuggets were crunchy and tender inside. (wish they served more). Their wings were really good as well. Sides were great. I wish we had a second meal here. Definitely worth a visit.

food here was BOMB! i had the mac and cheese and hot chicken tacos, and they were both absolute delish! Mac n cheese was creamy and actually had flavor!! hot chicken tacos were indeed spicy but such a perfect amount. i unfortunately forgot to take pics of my food bc it looked so good I started digging in as soon as it came to the table!! service was alright, not much of "ambiance" but the food was the show stopper and absolutely why you should come here!! def best meal I had in Nashville! If you're looking for a good southern food rec in Nash, this is the place to go! (this is a order at the front and food is brought to table kinda of place)
